District Supports for Students

Assurance from the district level comes from multiple sources. One such source may be the supports that are implemented from a system level, either across schools or directly to schools.

WeCollab has the ability to support the implementation and tracking of such supports so as to provide opportunity to report on their use and effectiveness.

Distributing District Supports

Supports from a district level tend to fall into one of two categories:

  • school-based supports that are supported from the district level (resources, training, etc.)
  • student-focused supports that are involve district level personnel

Both types of supports can be added in WeCollab at the district level to be made available to access at the school level during Collaborative Team Meetings and individual student meetings, including Support Plan meetings. Supports can be differentiated to be made available to specific schools within the district.

Reporting for Assurance

As schools leverage the supports that have been added at a district level and WeCollab users maintain records of their effectiveness for students, a variety of reports within the system may be acquired. These may be used to inform decision making and provide assurance that the support being provided to schools from the system level is having a positive impact.
