A Student Support Roster

Are you curious about which students have received or currently receiving supports in your school?  Do you want to know how long those supports have been in place? Do you want to view the effectiveness rating of supports for a number of individual students?

Student Support Roster

The School Report entitled "Student Support Roster" generates a list of students currently or previously enrolled in a support within the school.



The parameters for generating the report allow the user options to refine the Student Support Roster.

  • Focus on a window of time by specifying a start date and/or an end date for which the system should search assigned supports
  • Narrow or broaden the report by choosing a single support, some specific supports, or all supports 
  • Filter the report by search for a specific grade level of students
  • Target the report for those supports assigned to a specific teacher

This report can be generated as a CSV or PDF file, which is helpful depending on the context in which it is being used.  A CSV spreadsheet could be further manipulate to sort in various ways or to create charts, where the standard PDF provides an aesthetic display of the information.

Informing Decision Making

The Student Support Roster has the ability to provide a breadth of information for consideration. Its results may be used to answer questions - Which students are involved in which supports at the current time? Which teachers are providing supports for students? How many students in a particular grade are receiving supports? - to name only a few.  As always, Jigsaw Collaborative Solutions believes that the information contained within the system should be able to be retrieved in a fashion the enhances the effectiveness and the efficiency of the great work that is being done by educators in supporting students and addressing their needs.

Manual Rollover Process

Are you a school that needs to update its staff and student rosters manually? Here is an overview of steps for consideration. Annual Roster Rollover Please note that this information is only for those schools who DO NOT synchronize WeCollab with their Student Information System. Roster updates take place automatically within 24 hours of changes in the Student Information System when synchronized with WeCollab.   Update Staff Rosters To access the staff roster information, click the Add/Edit button on the Landing Page. (If you do not have this button, you do not have the appropriate permissions to engage in the annual roster rollover). Verify the Current School Administrator Every school in WeCollab must have a current School Administrator determined that cannot be changed or deleted by any other users with Admin permissions.
