Sharing Meeting History With Parents
It is that time of year: end of first term, report cards, Parent-Teacher interviews, IPP meetings... We know there are multiple facets to the information that is needed to be communicated with parents.
One such facet may be the meeting notes that are kept in WeCollab: the details such as actions and their status may be worthy to make note of with parents.
The Student Meeting History Report in WeCollab may be the compilation that you wish for in order to demonstrate to parents the support that a student is receiving.
Benefits of the Report
The Student Meeting History Report allows you to consolidate information from the various Meeting Records in the Student Profile into a single streamlined document.
The report presents the results in reverse chronological order, with the most recent meeting appearing first, working back to the least recent meeting.
Information displayed in the report include the Meeting Type, Meeting Date, Meeting Attendees, Description of the Meeting, as well as Supports and Actions Identified.
Accessing the Report
There are two ways to access the report functionality.
1. Directly from the Student Profile
Click on the Print Student Report Button and choose the Student Meeting History Report.

Configuring the Report
There are two sections to complete once you have accessed the functionality of the report: the selection of students for whom you wish to generate the report and the selection of the information you wish to be included in the report for each student.
The left hand side of the screen corresponds to the various ways you can select students: by icon, by programming note, by team board, by name, or by grade.
The right hand side of the screen lays out the options to select the details you wish to include in the report, including how the start date, the end date, and the meeting type(s) for the information you would like it to retrieve. This section may be very important when determining which meetings you want to share with parents.
Generating the Report
There are two options for the output of the report: as a .csv file (a spreadsheet which you can then sort by column, etc.) or as a PDF (where each student will have an individual report printed). Please note that depending on the number of meeting records in the student profile, it may take a moment for the report to generate.
To view a sample of the PDF report (which seems to be the most popular output choice), click here.
We do hope you are able to take advantage of the Student Meeting History Report as you get to know your students and as you prepare for future conversations about them!
