Student Support Network

Are you struggling to find the right support to meet the needs of a student? Are you wondering what other schools are implementing as supports for their students?

WeCollab has a built in database that may provide assistance.


Student Support Network


Our support toolboxes are limited to our own learning and experience. The Student Support Network provides access to supports identified by other WeCollab users (and vetted by Jigsaw Learning) to continue to increase awareness of what is possible in supporting students.


Using the filters across the top of the database, the list of supports can be honed in on the area of support that is needed for a student or a conversation. The Student Support Network can be filtered by:





Supports can be viewed by clicking on the blue hyperlinked name of the support. A view of a support with all details (as filled out by another district or school who added the support) will be provided.






If a support would be deemed as beneficial for the school or district, it can be saved to the Support List.  For instructions on how to do this, please visit the WeCollab User Support Site and search for "Access Student Support Network".

Building Collective Efficacy


This transparency of the sharing of supports within this database in WeCollab provides opportunity to expand our support toolboxes. However, there is meaning to be made in articulating the supports within a school as a staff rather than simply adopting the supports of another school whose context may be entirely different. It is not about how many supports are available: it is about the quality of the supports that are being provided to students.
